I don't know how the other Hinton families of Wayne Co, Tennessee were related to Elizabeth's husband, David "Hardy" Hinton. I only mention this because some of the Ray family were located in Wayne Co, TN.

INFORMATION ON HINTON GRAVES AT POWELL CEMETERY

According to Mrs. ATHA, the following members of the HINTON family are supposed to be buried at Powell Cemetery. They are buried on the west side of the cemetery with only black rocks for markers. There are six graves:

Elizabeth, Sarah, Rebeccah, Pairlee, Benjamin, L.B. , Nancy and Thomas are the children of C.C. HINTON and his first wife;
Mary Ida, Laura Ann and J.C.B. are children by his second wife: Mary Elizabeth MORRIS, 1861 - 1935, buried at Centenary Cemetery, Wayne County, Tennessee.
