Kentucky Census Information

Breathitt County, Kentucky

USGENWEB SITE:http://www.rootsweb.com/~kybreath/breath.html Formed in 1839 from parts of Clay, Perry and Estill Counties, this was the 89th county formed and was named for Governor John Breathitt. Located in theCumberland Plateauregion of the state, the elevation in the county ranges from 650 to 1600 feet above sea level. This is a terrific site with loads of information - but unfortunately it doesn't look like there are a lot of COOK families here.
